
South Carolina Lions Sight Conservation Association, Inc. was founded at the multiple district 32 convention held at Myrtle Beach in may 1969.
In summary, the purposes and objects of SCLSCA were to provide examinations and treatment for underprivileged persons with eye defects and diseases. to own and operate facilities for the employment of the blind. to promote education in the prevention of blindness and to provide vision screening of school children. to assist in the funding and operation of the South Carolina Lions Eye Bank. to secure funds to carry out the work of SCLSCA and provide funding for md32 major activities committee.
